1. General Use of Services
Reconnect Hypnotherapy provides hypnotherapy and psychotherapy services designed to support wellbeing, personal growth, and the management of issues such as anxiety, trauma, addictions, and unwanted habits. Our services are complementary health services and are not intended to replace medical treatment, psychiatric care, or professional financial/legal advice.
By engaging with our services, you agree to use hypnotherapy as a supportive process, and acknowledge that results vary between individuals. You should continue to consult with your doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or other health professional for any ongoing medical or mental health concerns.
2. Appointments & Bookings
- Scheduling: Appointments must be arranged in advance via phone, email, or our booking form.
- Session Length: A standard hypnotherapy session generally runs between 60–90 minutes, depending on the service.
- Punctuality: Please arrive on time to make the most of your session. Late arrival may shorten your appointment, as sessions must end on time to accommodate other clients.
3. Payments & Cancellations
- Payment: Payment is required at the time of booking or on the day of the session, unless prior arrangements are made.
- Accepted Methods: We accept cash, EFTPOS, or bank transfer.
- Cancellations: At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
- No-Show Policy: If you miss your appointment without notice, the full session fee may be charged.
4. Results Disclaimer
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. While many clients experience significant benefits, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Factors such as personal motivation, readiness for change, and engagement with techniques provided may influence results.
Reconnect Hypnotherapy does not provide refunds for services based on dissatisfaction with results, as success is influenced by the client’s commitment and unique circumstances.
5. Eligibility & Client Responsibility
- Age Requirements: Clients must be 18 years or older. Clients under 18 may attend only with written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Medical Conditions: It is the client’s responsibility to disclose any relevant medical, psychological, or psychiatric conditions prior to commencing therapy.
- Commitment: Hypnotherapy is most effective when clients actively participate, follow guidance, and practise techniques (such as mindfulness or self-hypnosis) outside of sessions.
6. Limitation of Liability
Reconnect Hypnotherapy, its practitioners, and staff accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury alleged to have arisen from the use of our services. All information provided is intended as general guidance only and should not replace professional medical or psychological advice.
